The banyan tree is a huge tree with very extensive branches. It’s native to India and part of the mulberry family and is usually planted on playgrounds or roadside.
            It is an evergreen tree. its branches spread out and have trunk trunk-like-roots in the ground for support. Banyan trees can grow to more than 20 meters. An old banyan tree covers a large area. The leaves of banyan tree are 10 – 20 cm long have many aerial roots. The leaves are broad, oval, and glossy and white milky fluid oozes out of them, if broken. The trees produce figs which are popular with birds and monkeys, as well as flowers that attract wasps for pollination.
            Banyan trees have many uses. The lead, bark, seeds and figs are used for various disorders, like diarrhea, polyuria, dental, diabetes and urine disorders. The wood is used for making door panels, boxes and furniture. The bark is used for making paper and ropes. The roots are often used to make ropes to secure wood bundles. The milky latex that oozes from its leaves and stem is used in many Ayurvedic medicines.

A coral is a living creature that creates a calcium carbonates skeleton that looks much like a rock and has a symbolic relationship with single cell algae known as zooxantellae. This lives inside the soft tissue of the coral and uses sunlight to help produce the food through photosynthesis. It also provides the coral with food to eat and gives back zooxanthellae with nutrients as well as shelter. Corals get their colors from tiny algae that live in their tissues.
Corals also have the ability to capture food. When it is dark, they stretch out their tentacles to catch small organism and zooxantellae. When you have really hot summers, you can expect the corals to get stressed and it is more likely that bleaching will occur.
Corals live in warm shallow water. While corals can be found in many places across Pacific Ocean, there are plenty of other places around the world like Indian Ocean, Caribbean Sea, Red sea and Arabian Gulf where corals can be found.
 Coral is a very beautiful and unusual creature. Each coral head consist of thousand of individual polyp. These polyps are continually budding and branching into genetically neighbors.

Green sea turtles are rarely seen on land. They endangered species with a drastically reduced population.
Despite its name, green sea turtle’s shell is not always green. The shell can be a blend of different colors including brown, dark olive, grey or black. The shell is also smooth and heart – shaped. Green sea turtles actually received their colorful name from the color of their sub dermal (underneath the skin) body fat.
Green sea turtles are really big. They can grow to 91 – 122cm in length. They are very dense and heavy animals. Despite their size, they are still not the world’s largest sea turtles.
Adult green sea turtles are herbivores. The jaw is serrated to help the turtle easily chew their primary food source – sea grasses and algae. Meanwhile, juvenile green sea turtles are omnivores. They eat a wide variety of plant and animal life, including insect, crustaceans, sea grasses and worms.
Green sea turtles have ocean water habitat and nesting habitats. Once a green sea turtles hatches and head into the ocean, it rarely returns to land. Instead, it feeds on off shore plant blooms around islands and beaches.
